o   Letters of recommendations, Portfolio letters can come from specific experiences (e.g., a congratulatory letter from a Scout leader for achieving an award), or can be generated strictly for the purpose of the portfolio. Such general letters can be written by a counselor, a coach, a teacher, a supervisor, a pastor, or anyone who can offer an objective overall endorsement of a student's skills and abilities.
