Starting teaching my students in Digital Designs 1 and 2 Adobe InDesign Classroom in a Book in January. Students finished May 8 and then spent two weeks creating a 30 page magazine of thier choice. I really like learning and teaching this new program. It has many advantages to creating publications.

Plans for next year will be to teach my students Adobe Photoshop and to be industry certified.

Recieved $2,000 from the Best Buy Teach Grant.
In May of this year Chiefland High School became a Certport Testing Site and 7 of my Business students passed the Microsoft Office Word Specialist Exam.
Plans for next year are for my students to complete Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Training for this exam was enhanced by a program called myitlab, which is offered to our students through an articulated credit with Central Florida Community College.
