Students will predict questions as KWL regarding web design questions from handout. Review as whole class, and student markup text. Student will evaluate website and learn about copyrights.

Students need to understand the basics to web design before creating web pages.

The student integrates technology using PowerPoint and the Internet.

Students will not present to class, but talk about results as a group.

Strategies to develop students’ attitudes towards the problem, motivation, and overall mindfulness:

Students are excited about wanting to learn coding and creating webpages, but they have to get an overview first.

Students will work at the computer

  1. Students will do four website evaluations using the handout provided.

  2. Students will learn about copyrights, and answer questions regarding in creating websites.

Students will take a test regarding what they learned.

Instructor supports students through the web design lesson with guided practice and handouts for website evaluations, site structure, and copyrights.

Assessment

Students will be assessed:

An online copyright test is given.

A overall test on web design will be given.

 

Included in the assessment:

Students will write a paragraph to see how well the student learned about web design.
