phone number, and your name as the computer specialist. The letterhead
information can all be at the top of the document or part on the top in
a header and part on the bottom in a footer. Use horizontal lines to separate
the letterhead information from the body of the letter.
Instructions:
- The top of the letterhead needs to be in the top
2 inches of the paper.
- The bottom needs to be within 1 inch of the bottom
of the paper.
- Set margins for 1.5 to 2 inches at the top. 1.25
inches on the left and right, 1 inch on the bottom. Adjust the header and
footer margins if needed.
- Use the decorative font you have been using for the
company name in a large font (24-18 points).
- On the line(s)underneath or in the footer area use
a normal sized font (12-14 points) to write the address, phone number and
additional information.
- Include a logo or graphic if you can.
- Add a horizontal line(s) to separate the letterhead
from the body of the letter.
- Proofread, save, and print.
- If possible save the letterhead as a template so
it can be used over and over.
